History
The original Club was formed in 1938 by Messer?s J.D. Mc Leod, G.G. Ashton, W.W. Horsley, Sir Frank Packer and J.H. Ashton (President), before WWII.
The original Town and Country Polo book has been reprinted and contains not only the rules from that era, but useful notes on pony selection and pony training. The great pre war U.S. player Tommy Hitchcock (10 goals) has wonderful notes on player positions.
