Polo is a family orientated, traditional sport and the Town and Country Polo Club would like to invite you to be part of our polo family and tradition. You will be joining a club that was formed over sixty years ago, in 1938. The original club was founded by Messrs JD McLeod, GG Ashton, WW Horsley, Sir Frank Packer and JH Ashton (President) before WWII.
In keeping with the former philosophy of the Town and Country Polo Club, the focus is as much on those who enjoy sport and the opportunity to meet interesting and like-minded folk, as it is on the polo players. In Sydney, for example, on International Test Match days, club members enjoy the benefits of a catered marquee, conveniently situated private parking and exclusive use of the clubhouse and its facilities.
Whether you are a passionate participant of the sport playing under the club colours, or a social member cheering on your team, the Town and Country Polo Club provides you with benefits at home and abroad, through its affiliation with other clubs. Playing members have the opportunity to represent the club in the numerous spring and autumn tournaments in NSW and social members and their guests are encouraged to come and celebrate with us at all the key polo fixtures, at our Melbourne Cup event and at our end-of-season parties.
