What is it like to be a member of the Town and Country Polo Club?
Polo is a family orientated traditional sport, the Town and Country Polo Club would like to invite you to be part of our polo family and tradition. You will be part of a club that was started in 1938 some 60 odd years ago. The original Club was formed by Messer’s J.D. Mc Leod, G.G. Ashton, W.W. Horsley, Sir Frank Packer and J.H. Ashton (President), before WWII.
In keeping with the philosophy of the Town and Country Polo Club, the focus of the club will not be on the polo players themselves but on those who enjoy sport to meet and appreciate the company of new and interesting friends. Imagine, arriving at a polo match and having the choice of pre ordering your personal picnic basket or attending the Town and Country Polo Club Marquee. In Sydney on International Test Match days, club members will have access to their own private parking and toilet facilities along with exclusive access to the clubhouse.
Whether you are a fuel injected jockey playing under the club colours or you are a social member cheering on your team, the Town and Country Polo club has affiliation with other clubs at a national and international level. Imaging travelling overseas and your Town and Country Membership allows access to exclusive clubs and restaurants in various countries.
At the national level, not only can you play in or attend one of the many polo tournaments on the polo calendar, however, there will also be other social functions such as the Town and Country Melbourne Cup Polo luncheon. The Town and Country Polo Club are having a Sydney Metropolitan based venue for the benefit of club members. This allows access for socializing or scheduling a business meeting with one of your important clients.
